Affordable Bankruptcy Fees Chapter 7 and 13:

Chapter 7 – $1,200 standard fee for most cases (plus filing fee)
Chapter 13
Fees depend on complexity of case, usually $1,200 to $1,600 prior to filing of the case, with the rest of the fees deferred and paid through the plan.
Note: because of rules that allow more favorable vehicle payments in chapter 13 often the total monthly chapter 13 payment for all of your debt, including house, vehicles, credit cards, and attorney fees, is less than your current monthly payment for just your vehicles and house payment!

Since chapter 13 is a debt repayment plan some of the attorneys fees can be deferred until after the case is filed. This allows them to be included in the repayment plan so that as you make your monthly plan payments the attorneys fees will be paid over the course of the plan.
